Kato, Train Models - Visiting Koto's Homebase

I have always loved trains. I enjoy train travel. The slow thud as the train pushed off from each station and the low hum and slow rocking like a gentle cradle. Thus, naturally, I love collecting train models too. Unlike my other collection, I limit my train collection almost exclusively to the N-Scale because of space constraints. The H-Scale will be too large for me and my relatively small apartment.

In August 2023 when I was in Tokyo, I took one day from my itinerary to visit the Kato Home Base in Shinjuku. It was a joy to see so many train models and accessories. And those scaled dioramas were a joy to both watch and marvel at.
