From the Batmobile featured in the 1989 Batman movie, Hot Toys will be releasing the 1/6 scale version of this Batmobile.

Priced at a whopping USD$630 before shipping, customs fees and other related charges, collectors interested in this item will have to start saving now as this Batmobile will be shipping around May 2013. That is slightly more than a year to save on your pocket money!

January 2012 marks a flurry of new arrivals to my growing collection!

Aliens 3 Dog Alien polystone statue SSC Ex (bought direct from Sideshow)

As I paid for all my collections with my hard earned money from my day job as an IT Engineer, I have to significantly slow down my purchases in the next few months in order to give my wallet a much needed rest!

So for the rest of the year, I am going to have to be extra selective in my purchases. Not much choice really. I can't collect them all! But missing certain grail pieces and having to hunt them down when they are sold out is part and parcel of the hobby, isn't it? It all adds to the fun! :-)

Aayla Secura in Premium Format

Sideshow's latest Star Wars Premium Format figure is the Jedi Knight Aayla Secura!

The Sideshow Exclusive Edition comes with an additional 242nd Star Corps Clone Trooper Helmet (or is it a Clone Trooper head?) and is priced at USD$349.99 (before shipping and other fees).

The Regular Edition is also priced similarly but will not have the additional Clone Helmet (or is it a Clone Head? Lol.....).

New Alien Warrior Statue from Sideshow Collectibles

From the film Aliens, the Alien Warrior statue from Sideshow Collectibles will be up for pre-order this Thursday or Friday, depending on the time zone where you are located.
