Figure Review: Kotobukiya 1/7 Scale ArtFx Spiderman (Spiderman 2)

Kotobukiya pulls out their usual artistic talents and managed to depict Spiderman in this stunning and iconic pose of the superhero in their signature 1/7 Scale ArtFx Statue series.


Overall Rating

From the movie Spiderman 2, this ArtFx statue features Spiderman on top of a building. With one hand clinging on to the building tower pole as the superhero seemed poised to “spring” to the top of another building, this is classic Spidey.

Unlike Kotobukiya’s usual attention to the details of the base of their ArtFx statue, this Spiderman figure does not come with a base to die for. However, when you are on top of a building, how fanciful can the base be?

This probably explains why the attention to detail is instead devoted to the figure itself.

Overall, this is a fairly well-made piece. Despite being molded in vinyl, the fairly reasonable retail price made this a good buy.
